Do I need to send both the original and donor E6T?
Yes, for cloning service you must send us both units:
- Original unit: Your faulty Mitsubishi E6T (must have communication to read data)
- Donor unit: A working E6T of the exact same part number (we can help source this)
How long does Mitsubishi E6T cloning take?
Most cloning services are completed same-day once we receive both units. Complex ECUs with encrypted immobiliser data may require 24-48 hours. We'll notify you of any delays.
Will the cloned E6T work straight away?
Yes! After cloning, the donor unit contains all data from your original including VIN, mileage, immobiliser coding, and vehicle-specific calibrations. It should work as plug-and-play in most cases. Some vehicles may require a brief initialization drive cycle.
What if my original E6T is completely dead?
The original unit must have at least partial communication for us to read the data. If it's completely dead with no communication, cloning is not possible. In this case, you may need virgin programming from a dealer or specialist with original manufacturer software.
